In Memory of Debbie Shortt- President Norton Retirees
POUND, VA- Deborah Ann Shortt, 68, entered into eternal rest Monday August 7, 2023, from the Pikeville Medical Center- Pikeville, KY. after a courageous battle with cancer.
Deborah was of the Episcopal faith. She was a retired phone operator from Verizon. She was an avid reader, enjoyed camping,
riding horses, four wheeling and just being outdoors…soaking up mother natural’s beauty. But mostly she loved her family and taking care of her grandchildren and great-granddaughter. To her they were the most precious gifts she had ever received.
Deborah was preceded in death by her father, Robert Edward Lee.
Survivors include her loving and devoted husband, Raymond David Shortt- Pound, VA; her daughter, Crystal Keith and husband
Chris- Pound, VA; grandchildren, Sydnee Collins and husband Justin- Pound, VA and Gavin Keith- Pound, VA; great-grand-
daughter Clover Jane Collins-Pound, VA; her mother, Leslie Lee-Charlotte, NC; a sister Claudia Smith- Charlotte, NC; several nieces and nephews; special friend, Lynette Wells-
Pound, VA; and a host of friends and loved ones.
Per Deborah wishes, she will be cremated and services held at a later date.
